Today we went to the Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art). When you think of a museum, you think of this. Rembrandts, van Goghs, mummies, Greek statues, the whole shebang. Except for dinosaurs, nope no dinosaurs.

If you are annoyed by people with little those little gay dogs, it's not a new trend it's been done forever.

They even had a Wemoto print up there.

Like in streetwear they had an overkill of the ancient Egyptian arts.

They also had an Arms and Armour section, which was fucking cool. Guns, knifes, swords, axes and of course armour.

So me and my girl flew in to NYC yesterday. And luckily the Big Apple had a nice birthday present waiting for me; a whole lot of rain.

But wet streets give a nice effect in pictures.

Today was a pretty amazing day though, about 28 degrees Celsius and a perfect blue sky.

My girl got me this car for my birthday, but it already got stolen. Damn you New York City!

So fuck it's been a while, but here I finally am again.

With my laptop crashing, tradeshow season and Jesse going on vacation in one of the busiest periods of the season I didn't have enough time or opportunities to blog I am very sorry, alright?

Well let start of with the Bread & Butter in Barcelona. Me and Jesse were sharing an apartment in the prostitute area with fat Peter (Frisco) Remco (Ontour) and G-G-Gio (Re-Issue). Which equals fun and a high level of streetwear knowledge (YAWN!).

First night me and Jesse had to go to the Sixpack sales meetig, which they held on the roof-terrace of their penthouse, nice! Fucking nice collection, you'll see it in half a year haha. Utopia!

When we were supposed to meet up with Peter and Gio for diner, we ran in to your favourite Fin; Timothy (CTRL). Jesus Christ I can't believe how cool he was looking. Was he always like this or did he turn into a hipster overnight?

We decided to join him and the rest of the the CTRL crew (Freeman, Esa and their Barcelona hostess) for diner. Bam "the Goth" Margera was sitting next to us and even got up so Gio and Peter could sit. Peter was all starstruck, he even took a picture with him (check his blog). He's now thinking of getting a HIM tattoo.

When we were doing serious business on the sales meeting, Peter and Gio went to the Stussy X Boneyard X Neighborhood shop opening and blew all their money on overpriced sneakers and T-shirts. Guess who were paying for beer the rest of the week?

Gio ran into his ex in the middle of the street. For some reason he didn't wanna talk to him and pretended he was passed out.

Freshjive's Rick Klotz is under attack. I've dedicated a blog entry to him already last week, and now he's the talk of LA. The JDL (Jewish Defense League) were protesting outside his door claiming he is an antisemitist. Pretty strange as Rick is a jew himself. The reason he would hate jews is some Freshjive shirts that came out (over 3 months ago) on the the whole middle-east issue. The shirts are on Palestines instead of Israeli's which is quite unusual in the US. But does that make you a hate jews? Yesterday I went skating with Danny (manonthemoon) and his brother Rubby at the Yellow Tit, Amsterdam's coolest spot. I tagged along Bats Freshcotton's hottest intern. We called Jesse and give him shit about not ever skating anymore, as Danny does every time he goes skating. He said he might come, and we thought there was no chance in hell he would come out. All of a sudden old Papa came skating around the corner, which instantly made the session legendary.

My main man Romeo from Obey was in town for some business, some partying and we sorted out four lucky shops that we pasted full of posters Shepard-style.

We started our pasting adventure at TOMS in Amsterdam. Vos (one of the best employees ever) was really enjoying the show. His job is hard, man. Smoking cigarettes, taking personal phone calls and being a prick to customers all day.

This is what we have done so far. Hans wants us to finish the whole wall. Well we got some more posters in, Romeo will probably be back soon and he thought me a little pasting, so no worries.

Next it was off to Revert in Haarlem. They actually let us do the whole outside of the shop. Here I'm pasting over Freshco's art, sorry partner.

This saturday all of us from Freshcotton traveled down south, way south to Eindhoven better known as Eindjegramma. Of course when visiting Ontour's hometown, you first have diner with the fuckers. Then we entered the world of mass parties. There were four halls which each had a different style of music. Accept for some Hip Hop acts in one hall I couldn't really tell the difference, but hey we had a blast.

Playing here was Felix da Housecat, old school classicness. My favourite DJ that night.

Yesterday I went to the Melkweg where Black Francis (also known as Frank Black), the singer of The Pixies, played his ode to our own Herman Brood. Check out the album and take little lesson in Rock 'n Roll. The show was pretty darn awesome. But looking at the crowd I felt very young. You know those people who turn 18 and start complaining at parties that the crowd is sooo young? They should visit more shows like this.

The second night of beesmunt was at Club Stalker in Haarlem. A couple of years ago this was my local hang out. I still play tunes there every second thursday of the month.

Frisco and Brainwash organized this Static III premiere and party all the way out in Arnhem. After Peter from Frisco repeatingly begged me to come out there, me and a mini-posse decided to show our faces in farmerland.

This is my boy Peter, he's pretty much the king out there in Arnhem. He runs Frisco and is one of the most active bloggers I know (check it). I love this guy and his blog is nice and all, but the only thing is he keeps calling me fat on his blog... Can someone get this fatso a mirror?
